John was surrounded by his family and comforted by their love when he passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Friday March 24, 2017 at the age of 59 years.  John is the beloved son of the late Marco Santarossa and is survived by his beloved mother Maria Santarossa (nee Palladino). Loving brother of Linda Procopio of Maple Ontario, and Jenetta Reich (Tony) of Brampton Ontario. Proud Zio to Maria, Dominic, Sophia, Andria, Matthew and Mark. John will always be lovingly remembered by his partner Veronica. John was the Economic Development Officer for Strong Township. He had a passion for bicycling. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday March 28, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 10am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thank you to the Palliative Care Team, the nurses and staff of D3 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, and the Chaplain for their care and compassion.
