It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Theodore W. Sandford at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on May 11, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Dearly loved father of Greg Sandford and Robyn Sandford (Leigh Johnston). Cherished grandfather of Reneé, Rain (Brent), Byron (Brittany), Deanna (Claudio) and great grandfather of Aiden, Ella, Katie and Ethan. Dear brother of Adrienne and Diana. Predeceased by his adopted daughter; Wendy Beland, his son; Peter Stanford (Jill-surviving), his parents; Walter and Constance Sandford and his siblings; David, Barbara and Dorothy. Theodore was an active member of the Callander Legion and the 406 Wing. A heartfelt thank you to the CACC for their generosity, caring, and patience. They put their extra time far beyond their responsibilities taking care of my father while I, Robyn live “down south.” As per his wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home’s Crematorium. A Legion Service will be conducted at the Royal Canadian Legion 445 (345 Landsdowne St, Callander) on Saturday May 19
th, 2018 at 1 pm followed by a celebration of his life until 3 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Veteran Affairs would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
