It is with such heavy hearts that the Saile family announces his peaceful passing after a long battle with terminal brain cancer.
He was the devoted husband of 52 years to Diane. Loving father to Mandy & her husband Jonathan and to Stephen and his wife Jennifer. He was Opa to Cody, Torry, Karly and great-Opa to Torryn. Karl is predeceased by his Mom, Katie & his Dad, Karl and survived by his sisters Vera, Sandra (Marko) and his brother Rolf (Ute). Karl will be deeply missed by his dog Zoey.
Karl was a proud, talented and hard-working carpenter who was well known and admired for his woodworking skills. His many projects big and small, public and private, will live on to be treasured and appreciated by many. He will warmly be remembered for his big strong hands & his huge warm hugs.
The family would like to express deep gratitude to the entire staff of the Nipissing Serenity Hospice for the dignified and compassionate care that they provided to Karl during his stay. As per his wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Donations can be made to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in his memory.
