The Rutherford family sadly announced Fran's death on Sunday, July 28th, 2019 at Cassellholme, at the age of 91 years. For 52 years Fran (nee David) was a beloved and devoted wife of Harold, he predeceased her in 2002. The proud and loving mother of Carol Hill (Jeff) of Redbridge, Heather McGrath (Joseph) of Buxton, Maine, David (Rhonda), Alan (Karen) both of North Bay, and the late Gordon. As well as Harold she was also predeceased by her parents Frank and Florence David, her granddaughter Melissa and by her brother Bill. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Scott (Shannon), Kevin (Michelle), Kelly (Matt), Jamie (Andrea), Jessica (Brandon), Chrissy (Kyle) and by her great-grandchildren Maya, Drake, Molly, Sam, Madeleine, Reece, Corinne, Jack, Eleanor and Calvin. She will be also sadly missed by her sister-in-law Sheila of Trenton. Family will receive friends at the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Friday, August 9th, 2019 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 10th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. If desired, donations to the Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. Her family will always be grateful for the warmth given by Cassellholme caregivers.
