It is with great sadness that the family announce Bill’s passing at Cassellholme on October 1, 2019 at the age of 78. Beloved husband to Rita (nee Gratton). Loving father of Randy Robinson, Debbie Schiavo (Abby) and Megan McDonell (Jamie Farquhar). He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Jessica Hammond (Justin), Randy Robinson, Mario Schiavo and Sabrina Schiavo and by his great grandchildren Kaydens and Greyson. He will also be missed by his siblings Eileen Garrett (Frank – deceased), Ken Robinson (Shirley), George Robinson and Rick Robinson (Joyce), as well as his special nieces and nephews and many friends. He was predeceased by his parents Herbert and Stella Robinson (nee Knight) and siblings Donnie, Lois Walsh (Bernie - deceased) and Margaret "Midge" Gratton (Armand – deceased). Bill owned and operated Robinson Construction for over 48 years. He will always be remembered for his love of the outdoors especially fishing and hunting. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Saturday October 5th, 2019 from 2pm until 4pm. A celebration of his life will follow at 4pm. The family would like to thank Dr. Prins and the staff at Cassellholme – 2nd floor Birch Street for the exceptional care and love given to Bill. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Bill to Cassellholme, Canadian Cancer Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
