Softly and tenderly Jesus took Jean to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. Although unexpected, Jean left peacefully surrounded by her four daughters at North Bay Regional Health Centre. Jean (Reichstein) was predeceased by her husband Bert in 2010 and her infant daughter Cindy in 1961. She will be forever remembered by daughters Brenda (Bryan) Busch of North Bay, Bonnie (Stephen) Hanselman of Trout Creek, Pam (Paul) Thompson of Sundridge and Paulianne (Mark) Odrowski of Mississauga. Jean loved visits from her grandchildren Brandon (Dinh) Busch, Jordan (Andrea) Busch, Haili Hanselman (Shayne Collinassi), Brittany (Rick) Morton, Denver (Rebecca) Thompson, Paige Odrowski (Chris Malinski) and Quade Odrowski. She was the great-grandmother “GGma” of Logan and Kai Busch, Madelyn Busch, Tucker and Layla Morton and Lola and Tripp Thompson. Jean was predeceased by her parents Juliann (Odrowski) and Joseph Reichstein. She was the last surviving member of the family of twelve: Irene (Gerald) Russell, Justin (Vera, Diane surviving), Lourdes (John) Van Mierlo, Mervin (Gertie), Joan (Cletus) Hummel, Buddy (Norma surviving), Ronnie (Carol), Grenville, Gerald, Shirley and Barbara. The Rennette family will receive visitors at Sacred Heart Church, Trout Creek on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a prayer service at 7:45; and on Saturday, August 13 from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, August 13 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
