PAQUIN, William Edward Kenneth (Bill)

Passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, surrounded by his family on  November  18, 2017 at the age of 75, after a hard but courageous battle with cancer. Devoted and loving husband of Rosetta Paquin. He was loved by and will be greatly missed by his children Brent Paquin (Denise);Tracy Cantin (Don) and Dean Gallant (Sheila) as well as his 7 grandchildren: Mitchell, Matthew, Tanner, Zachary, Dylan, Whitney and Ashley and 5 great- grandchildren. Predeceased by his parents Arthur Paquin and Marion Paquin-Miller and two infant brothers Thomas and Dennis. The oldest of a very large family, Bill will be missed by his siblings and their spouses: Patrick (Cheryl), Garnet, Raymond (Deborah), Daniel (Kimberlea), Donald (Nicole), Stephen,  Janet (Gary), Sheila, Sharon, Nancy (Donald) and Dorothy (Winston). A long time member of the Powassan Agricultural Society, he enjoyed raising chickens, ducks, pheasants and even peacocks and entering them in Fall Fairs and Poultry Shows. He had many friends down in Powassan whom he enjoyed having coffee with. Thank you to his many good friends who would often give him a ride into town when he couldn't drive anymore and to his sister in-laws Shirley Mitchell and Muriel Paynter who visited often and he was very fond of. Thank you so much to Dr. Jinnah and the nursing staff at the NBRHC Palliative Care Unit for making our Dad comfortable as well as the compassion and care shown.  In keeping with his wishes, cremation will occur and there will be no visitation or service.
