(April 23, 1936 - Sept 16, 2019) - Passed in Peace, Mon Sept. 16th, 2019 at the age of 83 in North Bay, Ontario. A visitation will be held on Mon, Sept 23rd beginning at 10am at the First Baptist Church located at: 1250 Cassels Street, North Bay ON, P1B 4B7 funeral services will follow at 11am. Attendees are welcome to join the family for a light lunch following the funeral service.
Elmer was born in Tomiko, ON to Napoleon & Marianne Pacaud. He had a long successful career with the Ontario Northland Railway, starting at the age of 16 and retiring at the age of 54, after 38 years of service. He had a very strong work ethic, was a multi-talented musician and would do anything to help family or friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Gail Pacaud, son Bobby Pacaud and brothers Albert, Gerald & Louis Pacaud.
He is survived by his wife: Marion Pacaud, Daughters: Tracy Slyman (husband Mark) & Christine Pacaud, Step Children: TJ Lewis (wife Danielle) & Tara Larente (husband Don) and Grandchildren: Rylan Slyman, Jordan, Rebekah, Jonah & Abby Larente.
The family would like to thank everyone for reaching out with well wishes and support during this difficult time. A Special thanks goes out to Doctor James Vigars and the staff of the North Bay Regional Hospital for the care and support they gave Elmer over the last 2 years.
