NEILL: Rodney

With heavy hearts the family announces the death of Rodney Colin Neill. Born in New Liskeard on November 12, 1951, to Mable (nee Armstrong) and Clarey Neill. Rod passed away at his home on Trout Lake with his family around him. Survived by the love of his wife Donna (nee Yerlitz), daughter Kassandra and son Sean. Fondly remembered by his siblings Janie Hammond (Wes), Gail Ross (Irv, predeceased), Sandra Decker (Bob, predeceased), Ryan Neill (Janice) and by many nieces and nephews. He will also sadly be missed by Donna’s family. Rod was happiest on the water boating, canoeing, sailing or water skiing. Rod enjoyed his 32 years with Bell Canada and his time spent with the Bell Pioneers Group. Rod's family would like to thank several people for the care and compassion received; Dr. Mantle & Dr. Blackburn, the Canadian Cancer Society, Gwen, Sara & the VON. Visitation will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Martyn Funeral Home on Wednesday November 25th at 11:00 am.
