MURPHY, James

(1935-2017) - Jim passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday March 20th, 2017 at the age of 81 years. He was the beloved husband of 47 years to Lynda Murphy (nee Cliche). Predeceased by his son Shaun, parents Kathleen and Vincent Murphy, a brother Harold and sister Doris. Family receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd., on Wednesday March 29th, 2017 from 10 am until 2 pm., followed by a celebration of his life at 2 pm. Donations to the Lung Association (cheques only) in memory of Jim will be gratefully acknowledged by his family. A heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of D3 for their compassion and excellent care given to Jim. He will be sadly missed by Riley, his canine companion.
