MORIN Andrew

MORIN, Andrew (Andy) Lorenzo. February 14, 1942 – April 17, 2016. It is with great sadness that we announce Andy’s unexpected, but peaceful, passing at home on April 17, 2016. He was in his 75th year. Beloved husband of 46 years to Sue (Johnston) and loving father to Dina and Pamela (Chad) Green. Proud Poppa to his grandson William and grand-dogs Ryker (who surely met him at the Rainbow Bridge) and Charlie. Andy was predeceased by his father Ludger Morin and mother Valmire Jodouin; his brother Leopold; and his sisters Jeanne Sloan, Cecile Lamonde, Simone Cybulsky and Claire Baskey. Survived by his sisters Henriette (Gilbert) Peplinski and Brenda (late Jean-Guy) Cote. He will be lovingly remembered by Marion Lingenfelter (sister-in-law), Ray (late Vivian) Johnston (brother-in-law) and Dolly (late Buff) Mondoux (sister-in-law); his many nieces and nephews; cherished friends and neighbours. Andy was an employee of Canada Post for over 30 years and spent his retirement joyfully driving the citizens of North Bay around town in his taxi for 5-0 Cab and U-Need-A-Cab. In keeping with Andy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service and cremation has taken place. A special Celebration of Life will occur at a later date. If desired, donations to the Ontario Lung Association would be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy. We love you Daddy and Poppa. We will miss you terribly.
