Peacefully, surrounded by family, on Tuesday July 21, after a brief battle with cancer.
Carmen was predeceased by his parents Owen and Reta Merrick and his brother Arnold Merrick.
He is survived by his wife Lynn at home, his children Betty (Jim) of North Bay, Daryl (Brenda) of King Kirkland, Bonnie of Ottawa, and Steven (Crystal) of Carlisle. He also has ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
He is also survived by his sisters Vivian Peters (Delbert) of King Kirkland and Marlene Chouinard of Crystal Lake.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place.
