McNEIL, Deborah Anne (nee Stewart)

March 30, 1959 – October 12, 2020 - It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Debbie, surrounded by family, at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday October 12th in her 62nd year.

Predeceased by her father William, mother Agatha and brothers Michael and Mark.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 40 years, Brian, son Scott (Tina) of Tiny, Ontario and daughter Brianna Presse (Steven) of North Bay, Ontario. She adored her 6 grandchildren Connor, Declan and Angus Presse and Seamus, Duncan and Catie McNeil. Also survived by her brother John (Marie) and Gregory (Pierrette) of North Bay, sister Susan Buckley of Calgary as well as many cousins, nephews and nieces. Debbie will be sadly missed by her two furry girls Gracie and Rosie.

Debbie fought and conquered numerous health issues over the past 10 years and was an inspiration to all who knew her, with her positive attitude and determination to live life to the fullest. She has earned her Angel Wings. Her beauty, her strength and her love will be forever missed but never forgotten. Heartfelt thanks for all the prayers and words of encouragement during this difficult time.

Special thanks to Dr. Saunders and the nurses and staff at the North Bay Regional Health Centre, to Dr. Cano and the nurses and staff at Health Sciences North Sudbury for their care and compassion during Debbie’s hospital stay.

As per Debbie’s wishes there will be no service. Cremation has been entrusted to HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICE.

Donations in Debbie’s memory to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only) would be appreciated by the family.
