(December 21, 1925 ~ May 18, 2019) - With profound sadness, we announce her passing on May 18, 2019 at West Nipissing General Hospital in Sturgeon Falls, ON at the age of 93. Predeceased by her husband Percy Birmingham, son Gary McLeod, parents; Marian and William Shabogesic, brothers Albert, Jerome, Emery, Sam, Hubert, Ben, Joe and sister Velma. She is survived by brother Leonard.
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Vickie Birmingham, son Jim Birmingham (Linda), grandchildren Brittany Birmingham Marleau (Roch), Andrew Birmingham, Devin Birmingham and her beloved great grandchildren Maddex and Charlie Marleau. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
We will remember her as someone who was an expert seamstress, an enthusiastic bingo player, church goer, and an avid walker. She attended many social events at Garden Village where she enjoyed talking and laughing with her relatives and friends. She was an animal lover who especially loved her cats.
In accordance with Alda’s wishes, there will be no service. If desired, donations to Diabetes Canada or West Nipissing General Hospital in her honour would be appreciated.
