It is with great sadness to announce that our beautiful Mom passed away peacefully on March 28, 2019. She was 78 years old. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Beatrice McKnight (McColeman) her brothers Terry and Fred, sisters Lorraine and Clover and daughter Melody Wright-Sampson. Survived by her sister Karen, her children Alan Wright (Jocelyn), Jenny Wright (Jeff), Tim Wright (Claire). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Alycia (Justin), Stephen, Christopher, Josh (Talia), Jasmine (Johnny), Billy (Danielle), Marie-Lee, Danielle, Megan (Toney), Stryder, Gabrielle and Celine.  She was proud 'Gigi' to Cameron, Noah, William, Oliver, Alexis and Ryleigh.  She will also be remembered by her sister-in-law Arlene McKnight, brother-in-law Jim Wright(Sandy), her many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She had a long career with Ontario Hydro/Hydro One in the North Bay Regional and Area office.  She maintained and enjoyed many friendships from the pensioners luncheons over the years since she retired in 1993. Following retirement she was able to fulfill her dream of building a home on beautiful Maple Lake, her sanctuary that she named 'Hemlock Haven', and where she enjoyed receiving the love of family and friends and the peace of her personal library. As per her wishes, a celebration of life will be held in the summer at the Lee Valley Hall in Lee Valley.  As expressions of sympathy, donations in Mom’s memory may be made to the Lee Valley Autumn Leaves or a charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
