Of Powassan and formerly of Barefoot Bay, Florida, passed away peacefully at the Eastholme Home for the Aged on Friday, October 18, 2019.
She was in her 97th year. Loretta was the beloved wife for 72 years of the late Gordon McKenzie. Loving sister of Erma Dominico of Ballantrae, Ontario; predeceased by her parents Joseph and Julia Young and by her siblings Amelia Hummel, John Young, Eddie Young, Frances Eckensviller, Clara Eckford, Rita Eckensviller, and Gilbert Young.
Loretta will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and friends. Loretta was noted for her passion and taking great pride in her knitting; all of which was lovingly donated. She enjoyed hunting and fishing, travelling and wintering in Florida with Gordon.
