It is with sorrow that the family announces the unexpected passing of Mary McConnell at home on May 1st, 2021 at the age of 67 years. Mary will be missed by her loving husband Roy McConnell. Cherished mother to Christopher Stock (Jackie) and Jonathan Stock (Laura). She will be missed and always remembered by her grandchildren Nicholas, Keanna, Madison, Grayden and Harlen. Mary is survived by her siblings Arnold Fairbarn (late Carol), Susan Makepeace (Ernie), Raymond Fairbarn, Jamie Fairbarn (Traci) and Rick Fairbarn. She is predeceased by her parents Stanley Fairbarn, Edna Marjorie (Lee) (Fairbarn) Danby and by her stepfather Christopher Danby. A private burial will take place at the Bracebridge Cemetery on Saturday October 9th, 2021, followed by an open celebration of life at the Gravenhurst Legion between the hours of 1-5pm (290 Veterans Way, Gravenhurst, ON).
