(1960-2019) - After a courageous battle with cancer Bruce left us on May 20th 2019 surrounded by his loving family at the NBRHC. Predeceased by his parents Harvey and Pearl (Dussault) and step-father Jack Bovay. Survived by his wife and best friend Janice (Collins). Loving father to Courtney Pearl (Andrew Holland) and Ryan Scot. Bruce will be missed by all who knew him from childhood friends, relatives and his Birch Hill Camp family. He loved football and was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for fishing. Bruce was as devoted to his kids as he was to his work at Stowe Woodward, Metso, and Ontario Northland. The family will be receiving friends at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Rd, on Thursday May 23rd 2019 from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 pm. Funeral Service at Calvin Presbyterian Church on Friday May 24th at 11 am. A special thank you to Dr. Kerry Reed and the many nurses and staff at the NBRHC who helped us throughout this battle. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to the NBRHC Foundation.
