Passed away suddenly after a full and adventurous life at 85 years of age on Friday October 4, 2019. In May, he and his best friend and love of his life, Donna (nee Ashton) celebrated 60 years of marriage.

Best father ever to Terri (Terry Moore) and Marni McClure of North Bay, Catherine McClure (Ryon) of Bermuda. 

Caring Papa to Whitney Moore (Derek) of Kitchener and Erin Moore of Ottawa.

Brother to Donald (Judy) of Bloomfield, David (Donna) of Spokane and Karen (Donald MacInnes) of Huntsville.

Bob was born in Port Sydney, ON. May 1, 1934 to Norma & Herbert McClure. His younger days were spent on Woodycrest Ave in the Danforth area of Toronto where he attended Danforth Tech. He came to North Bay to work for TransCanada PipeLines in 1958 and remained a loyal employee for over 35 years. He then continued with Pipeline inspections travelling throughout Canada, Mexico, Alaska, the Netherlands and Australia. 

His interests included the Friends of the Avro Arrow Project, gardening, vintage cars, all things war, planes, boats & history.

Please, no flowers or scented products at the visitation or service due to extreme allergies. 

Visitation Tuesday at 1 pm on October 15, 2019 at Hillside Funeral Services followed by a Celebration of his Life at 2 pm. 

Donations to Heart and Stroke, NBRHC (Mental Health) or Jordan Gardiner’s Cancer Battle would be greatly appreciated by the family.
