He was the cherished son of Nadine Melvaer and Derek McCarthy. Oliver was the beloved grandson to Wayne Smith, Rhandi Melvaer and Steve and Diane McCarthy. He is survived by his great-grandparents Lorraine Melvaer, David and Janet Smith. He leaves behind to grieve his uncle Christopher Smith and aunts Jennifer McCarthy (Jaime McLaren), Jessica (Andrew Watson) and cousins Izak, Haylee and Emilyn.
Oliver will be sorely missed by all who knew him. His radiant smile will forever be embedded in the hearts of all who loved him.
The McCarthy family would like to invite friends and family to attend a celebration of his life at HILLSIDE FUNERAL SERVICES, 362 Airport Road on Tuesday January 28th, 2020. Visitation 3 until 5pm with the celebration of life to follow at 5pm. The Melvaer family will be having a celebration of life at a later date.
Donations in memory of Oliver can be made to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Bay or One Kids Place. Mom and Dad will always be proud of you.
