Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in her 93rd year at Water's Edge Care Community. Helen was the beloved wife for 70 years of William James "Bill" McCann. Loving mother of Jeff (Jane) and Peter (Jane). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jeffrey Jr. (Robin), Sarah Marshall (Robyn Chandler), Rebecca Thompson (Denver), Meghan Woolfenden (Rob) and Jarrod (Katharine) and her great grandchildren Ryan, Elijah, Lola, Michael and Kendra. Helen was predeceased by her parents William and Florence Mumford and her siblings Earl, Edna, Eva, Irma, Bella, Eileen, Muriel, Josephine and Willa. A special thanks to Peter and Barb Webster for being true and caring friends. The family would like to thank Water's Edge Care Community for their care and compassion during Helen's final months. There will be no service. Cremation has taken place. The family will hold a private celebration of Helen's Life at a later date. If desired, donations in Helen's name to the Gathering Place will be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy. LOVE YOU MOM
