It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Muriel Martineau (nee Ramsay) at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on March 4, 2018 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Lionel Martineau. Devoted mother of Allan Martineau (Francine), Michelle Cooper (Peter), Tom Martineau (Deidre), Nicole Devost (Mark), Lionel Martineau, Jr. (Dina) and special daughter in law Nicky. Mémère will be always remembered by her grandchildren Sophie, Jannick , Katie, Allie, Taylor, Ethan, Josh, Noah, Jocelyne, Natalie, Stéphanie and Élyse and her great grandchildren Anika, Atticus and A.J. Dear sister of Tom Ramsay (Helen).
Muriel was a great woman. She was a tough cookie, funny, sassy and selfless. She loved being surrounded by the people who mattered most. She was fortunate to have had such great neighbours and friends who remained such a big part of her life. Thanks to everyone who helped her, loved her and took care of her over the years. It did not go unnoticed and is truly appreciated. As per her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be planned at a later date. Donations in Muriel’s memory can be made to North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation.
