MARTIN, Therese Francoise

At Nipissing Manor, with family by her side, Therese passed away peacefully on January 29, 2019 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her parents, Aime Martin and Marie Maude Martin (nee Sabourin). Therese was the dear sister of Beatrice Boudreau (James-predeceased), Vincent Martin (predeceased) and Yvette Martin. She will be lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews, Mike Boudreau (Miriam), Marc Boudreau (Gisele), Andre Boudreau, Gilles Boudreau (Francine), Lise Gowing (John), Jocelyne Booth (Jeremy) and Jacques Boudreau (predeceased) (Elizabeth-surviving). She will also be missed by many great nieces and nephews. In her earlier years, Therese worked as an office clerk in a couple of the large department stores on Main St. in North Bay. Eventually she turned to child care and enjoyed the company of little ones. Tante Therese was a large part of our lives and we will miss her dearly. The family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday February 15, 2019 from 3 pm until a Celebration of Therese’s Life at 5 pm. If desired, a donation to a Charity of Choice would be gratefully appreciated by her family. The family would like to thank the staff at Nipissing Manor for delivering such attentive care to Therese during her residency. It was comforting to see the compassion shown to her during her final days.
