MACK, Marjorie (Upton)

It is with great sadness that the family of Marjorie Mack (Upton), announces her passing on Sunday, July 24, 2016, at North Bay Regional Hospital. She was born on September 5, 1934, in Kirkland Lake, Ontario, to Russell and Mary Upton.  Marge will be lovingly remembered by her son Robert Mack and daughter-in-law Brenda Patterson-Mack, her sisters Marion Telfer of London and Betty-Lou (Ward) Fowler of Kimberly.  She will be missed by her nieces and nephews - Cindy (Chris), Kathy, Trevor (Yvonne), Tracy (Darrin), and Craig (Debbie).  Marge was predeceased by her beloved husband Bob Mack and her sister Pat Roy. Marge and Bob moved to Elliot Lake in the late 1950’s where they raised their son Rob and both worked and retired from Rio Algom.    She travelled extensively with her husband Bob and both were avid golfers.  Her time spent at the cottage (camp) in Blind River during the summers and winters in Panama City Beach, Florida, brought her much joy.  Marge loved life - enjoying her many friends and family. Christian funeral will be held on Tuesday, August 2nd at 10:00 am, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 45 Spruce Avenue, Elliot Lake - friends and family are invited to a lunch following the service at the church hall.  Interment will be held at a later date.
