Maureen passed away surrounded by the love of her family at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday October 7, 2019 at the age of 77 years.  Born in Charletton PEI in 1942, raised in Ottawa, Maureen graduated as a registered Nurse at St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Kingston. Maureen worked for many years in her field and as a partner and great advisor to the family business; The Abbey in downtown North Bay. She was friendly, fun loving, sharp witted, intelligent, sensible, an avid bridge player, and devoted Catholic and hospital volunteer. Loving wife of John Lyle for 54 years. Mother of 3 wonderful sons: David Lyle (Jennifer), Thomas Lyle (Jamie) and Christopher Lyle (Tara). Dearly loved grandmother of Brady, Livy, Exxtyn and Emree.  Maureen was predeceased by her parents Frederick and Anne (nee Callahan) Brady. She is survived by her brother David Brady (Lorna), and her sisters Elizabeth Dunbar (Sam), Patricia Coderre (John) and Barbara Black (David) and countless friends. The family will receive visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) for a memorial visitation on Monday October 14, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at the Pro- Cathedral of the Assumption on Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 10am with a luncheon to follow. If desired, donations are suggested to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice, The North Bay Regional Health Centre or a charity of your choice.
