(January 22, 1933 - October 18, 2019) - It is with heavy hearts that the family announces her passing on Friday October 18th, 2019 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre in her 87th year.
Dearly missed by her sister Anna Brisson (Roland), her nieces Rollande, Cathy, Lisa, Jocelyne, Lorraine, Louise and her nephew Patrick as well as her great nephews, great nieces,and her great-great nephew.
Irene was predeceased by her parents Arthur and Anna Lepage and brothers Hector and Roland Lepage.
Irene worked at Cochrane Dunlop for over 30 years. She enjoyed working countless hours in her garden and spending time with her family and neighbours on Greenwood Ave.
The family would like to express deepest gratitude to the staff of section E3 flex unit, staff of section C3 and section D3 of the North Bay Regional Health Centre, to Dr. Michael Leckie and his staff for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to Irene throughout the years, as well as the PSW's with the VON and Meals on Wheels for their dedication and compassion. Many thanks to her neighbours on Greenwood Ave, words are never enough.
Family will be receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., on Wednesday October 23rd, between 1 and 3 pm with the service to follow at 3 pm.
In Lieu of flowers, donations in Irene’s memory to the Alzheimer’s society, North Bay Regional Health Centre, Nipissing Serenity Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society, will be gratefully acknowledged by her family.
