LECOUR, William Linus

Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on October 22, 2016 at the age of 80 years. Loved son of the late David Lecour and Loretta (nee Good). Loving uncle of David Lecour (Shannon), Chris Lecour (Nada), Mary Lucenti (Bob), Peter Lecour (Darlene), Leslie Lecour-Benoit (Ron) and Marsha Lecour. Sadly missed by his extended family and friends. Predeceased by his brothers; Vincent Lecour and Gary Lecour (Helen-surviving). William enjoyed baseball and hockey, closely following the Blue Jays and Chicago Blackhawks. He enjoyed reminiscing about his favorite hockey player, Stan Makita. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 1007. Family will be receiving visitors at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Tuesday October 25th from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at the Pro-Cathedral of the Assumption on Wednesday October 26th, 2016 at 10 am. The family would like to thank Dr. Buckley and the staff on C3 and D3 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre for their care and compassion towards William.
