It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Cecile Leblond on March 8
th, 2019 at the age of 89. Predeceased by her husband Victor Leblond and sisters Rita Shelleau and Alice Villeneuve. Loving Mother of Paulette Gibbens (Mervin), Suzanne Pigeau (Roger), Gerald Leblond (Louis) and Veronica Leblond. She was a cherished and devoted Grandmother of Renée, Susanne, Nicole, Jeffrey, Michael and Caitlan and Great-Grandmother of Aidan, Tyler, Bryce, Lucas, Charlie, Kyle and Chloe. Cecile will also be sadly missed by her sister Yolande Lafortune. Cecile was an active member of the “Ladies of the Royal Purple” (Elk’s Lodge) for the past 60 years. Our Family would like to sincerely thank the staff at Cassellholme for all of the care and comfort that was extended to Cecile during the past 4 years. We appreciate each and every one of you. Visitation will take place at McGuinty Funeral Home between 10:30 and 12 noon on Wednesday March 20
th, followed by a religious serviced in the chapel. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Elk’s Lodge #25 Funds for Children, Cassellholme Charitable Foundation or a charity of choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
