LARMAND, Lawrence Reginald

(1945-2016) - Larry passed away peacefully at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday February 2, 2016 at the age of 70 years. He was the beloved partner of Lynda Ricker. Dear father of Dayna (Derek Burgess) and Layne. Poppa Larry will be missed by his grandchildren Emma and Mason. He will be sadly missed as well by his extended family, Mark Ricker (Michelle) (their children Tyler and Tanner) Grant Ricker and Kim Ricker. Also survived by his sisters Claire (Ted Jones) Denise (Andre Rochefort) Maddy (Ted O’Connor predeceased) and his brother Danny (Claire). Predeceased by his parents Reginald and Leda Larmand. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Larry was a loyal and loved friend of many. He loved to entertain and be the host with the most. If you knew Larry then you’ve been privileged to have been given his “advice” on all things from home maintenance, driving, sports, and how to properly cut the grass. He loved to play ball, watch sports, travel and to spend time with family and friends. He took great pride in his gardens and his Hostas. Bird watching had become a passion of his in the last couple of years. If you needed help with anything he’d be there for you, no questions asked. His family would like to invite you to his home on Saturday, February 6th at 1:00pm to share stories, have a few laughs, a shot of Vodka, a couple of hot dogs or a piece of pie! Donations to a charity of choice in memory of Larry will be gratefully acknowledged by his family. A heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ian Cowan, Dr. Inez Jinnah, nurses Paige, Julie and Shanena for the exceptional care given to Larry. Your compassion will be forever remembered and appreciated.
