LANG, Paul William 'Oats'

Suddenly, yet peacefully, Paul died Thursday, September 20th, 2018 at his Trout Creek home with his beloved wife of 36 years Maureen (Cowden) by his side. He was in his 62nd year. Paul was the much-loved father of Shannon (Adam Nielen), Tanya, Amy and Mary-Ann (Codey Munshaw). Papa Oats will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Dallas, Coral, Brooklyn and Hope. Paul was the dear son of Clare Lang and the late Veronica (Muriwske) and brother of Margaret Daley (Paul, deceased), Patti King (Ron), Wayne Lang (Bev), Sherrie McGrath (Paul), Deserie Parsons (Freeman), Melanie Harden (Glenn), Mark Lang (Angela), and Lesa Lingenfelter (Paul). He was a dear son-in-law of Betty and the late Don Cowden, and brother-in-law of John Cowden (Kerri Thompson), Paul Cowden and Nancy Clarke (Jerry, deceased). He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews, and friends. Family and friends are invited to gather at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek on Monday, September 24 at 11 am for a graveside service. Then to meet at the Trout Creek Community Centre from 1:30 to 3:30 with a brief tribute service at 2 pm and Celebration of Life gathering to follow.
