On May 7th 2018, the Toronto Maple Leafs and the North Bay Battalion lost a loyal fan. Larry, husband, best friend and garden assistant to the love of his life Pierrette and father, protector and North Star to his daughter Gisele, passed away at the Sudbury Health Sciences Centre.
Larry was the elder brother to Ronny (Vivian), Danny, Gail (Andy Ayotte) and Bev (Jean Goulet). He is predeceased by his son Brian, father Benjamin, mother Genevieve and brother Michael. He also leaves behind many in-laws, nieces and nephews. He will be much missed by his canine companion Bailee and the folks working the Mc Donald’s drive-thru on Lakeshore Drive.
Larry worked first as a mechanic, then a vehicle inspector with the MTO then finally he enjoyed a second career as a Special Constable with the North Bay City Police. He loved hockey, fishing, cappuccino and the odd beer but most of all he loved his family. He will remain in our hearts forever.
A private service has already taken place, as per his wishes. Please consider honouring his memory by making a donation in his name at either the North Bay Food Bank, the Crisis Centre North Bay or the Autism Society of Ontario.
