KIRKEY, May (nee Bell)

It is with sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of May Kirkey on January 26, 2020 at Waters Edge Care Community. Dearly loved wife of Vince Kirkey. Loving mother of Carole Frappier (Pete), Rachel Lariviere (Chris Buller), Line Lariviere (Nick Wheeler), Marc Lariviere (Joanne Jacob), Brian Quirt, Patricia Leblond (Mike), Steven Quirt (Wendy Hayes), Kim Fitzgerald (Barry) and step mother of Paulette, Patrice, Stephen, Michael, Peter, Sandra and Karen. Cherished grandma of many grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Dear sister of Carmen Meunier. She will be sadly missed by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her son; Yves Lariviere, parents; Albert and Agnes (nee Brunet) Bell,  her stepson Tom and her brother Harry Bell. Family will be receiving friends at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday February 3, 2020 from 2-4 pm. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be gratefully appreciated by her family. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to the staff at Waters Edge Care Community on Pier 1 for their exceptional care and compassion shown to May and our family.
