Kile

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at North Bay Regional Health Center on October 5th, 2019.

Eleanor was born January 21st, 1937 in Victoria Road (Kirkfield), Ontario. Eleanor is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years James L. Kile. She leaves to mourn her passing her children Christine Pacheco, Jim (Joanne), Scott (Ginette), and Jackie Bedard. She was a special Mom to her nephew Edward Murphy (Bonnie). She will be dearly missed by her adored grandchildren Curtis Kile (Mel), Jamie-Lee Eberts (Tim), Candace Larose (Seb), Chris Aube, Adriana Pacheco, Braeden Pacheco, Kimberly Kile, and Elizabeth Kile. Her great grand-children Cameron, Ellie, Jacob, Olivia, Mackenzie, Noah, and Zoe will carry wonderful memories of their much- loved Great gramma. Eleanor was the dear sister of Sister Mary, Madeline (late Ralph) Pearson, late Barb (late Jack) Murphy, late Dennis (Frances), Patricia (late Bernard) Donnelly, James (late Donna), late John, late Sheila (late Rae) Goard, Marcella (late Arnold) Patterson, late Patrick, Anne (Paul) Hannivan and Murray (Wendy). She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Eleanor was predeceased by her parents Patrick and Annie (Foley) Connelly of Kirkfield, her son Llewellyn, and her great grandson Liam Eberts.

Eleanor was a very bright, compassionate, and caring lady. She took care of many children over the years and always had an open door to help young people who needed a place to stay or a warm meal. She was very good at keeping up on the latest news about all the people she cared about even if it meant grilling PSWs that took care of her! She was not computer savvy, but she was the google search for her family when they wanted to know information about old and new acquaintances. The family is eternally grateful to all the PSWs and RNs from CCAC/LIHNs that took such good care of their beloved Eleanor over the years. A special thank you to Dr Locke, Dr Guderian, and all the wonderful staff on C3 at NBRHC who treated Eleanor with such compassion and kindness to ease her passing. As per Eleanor’s request, cremation has already taken place.

Family and friends will be received at McGuinty Funeral Home, North Bay (ON) on Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 11am until the funeral service at 1pm. Entombment at All Saints Mausoleum at a later date. If so desired memorial donations in memory of Eleanor can be made to North Bay Serenity Hospice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to McGuinty Funeral Home, North Bay, ON 705-472-8520.
