Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of his family at the North Bay Regional Health Care Centre on Sunday July 24, 2022, at the age of 85 years.
Jim was a retired veteran of the RCAF where he proudly served for 25 years. Jim was the beloved spouse of Della Kaspardlov (nee Beaudry) and the loving father to Debbie Lavoy (Kerry), Derrick Kaspardlov, Karen Kaspardlov, Darrell Kaspardlov, and Kurt Kaspardlov (Andree). He was the cherished grandfather to 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his brother Peter Ryan (Hilda) and sister Dorothy Warren (late Tom). Jim is predeceased by his parents Lazar and Marie (nee Longley) Kaspardlov and by his siblings Dr. Melvin Kaspardlov (late Pat), Mary Skinner (late Les), Dessa Rooney (late John), and Paul Kaspardlov (late Polly).
Jim was an avid Blue Jays and Ottawa Senators fan and a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus. In keeping with Jim’s wishes cremation has occurred and a private family service will occur at a later date.
