JANVEAU, Lorraine Pauline (née Jodouin)

Sadly, the family of Lorraine announce her peaceful passing at the Mattawa General Hospital, on Friday July 15th, 2022 at the age of 70 years. Beloved wife of Claude Janveau and loving mother of Georges Janveau (Nikki Mayhew), Linda Gravelle (Allain) and Christine Matthews (Andy). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Kaylin, Odin, Megan, Karlee, Kylie-Taylor, Keyanna, Katie and Kierra. She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Archille and Irene Jodouin and her brother Pierre.  Dearly loved sister of Laurianne Jodouin (Tyrone), Armande Jodouin, Roger Jodouin (Francoise), Bernard Jodouin (Julie), Bruno Jodouin, Dorine Stevens (Mike), and Jean Jodouin. Memorial Visitation for Lorraine will be held at the Martyn & Sloan “Mattawa Chapel” on Thursday July 28th from 4:00 - 8:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday July 29th at 11:00 am. In recognition of the work of the Ladies Hospital Auxiliary, donations in memory of Lorraine can be made to the Mattawa General Hospital/Algonquin Nursing Home.
