(March 22, 1939- October 14th, 2018) - Passed away peacefully at Health Science North in Sudbury on Sunday October 14th, 2018. Beloved husband of Rollande (Gail) Hunter. Loving father of Scott Hunter (Marilynn) of Windsor, Laurie Humeryck (Dan) of Edmonton, Glenn Hunter (Aislinn) of Vancouver, Robert Hunter (Agniazka) of Cottam, Brett Skinner (Laurie) of Toronto and Randy Skinner (Lucy) of Tecumseh. He will be sadly missed by 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters Bonnie Renaud (Tom) and Joan Tousignant (Ron) of Windsor, brother-in-law Roger Mousseau, sister-in-law Dianne Skinner (Jerry), late Norman Mousseau, brother-in-law Mike Mousseau (Maria) and many nieces nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Ron was in the Navy for 5 years. He was in the Windsor Fire Department for 30 years and has enjoyed his retirement for the last 24 years.
A celebration of Ron’s life will be held on Wednesday October 17th, 2018 at 6:30pm at Faith Chapel, 367 Delaware Ave, North Bay. A gathering will also take place on October 27th, 2018 at the Windsor Christian Fellowship, 4490 Seventh Concession Rd, Windsor ON at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Faith Chapel Christian Centre (cheques only) will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
