(Sept. 14, 1944 – Jan. 15, 2020) – It is with great sadness that the Humphrey family announces Jack’s passing on Wednesday January 15, 2020 at the North Bay Regional Health Centre in his 76th year.
Beloved and devoted husband of 53 years to Janice. Loving father of Jennifer MacLean (Greg), and Jason (Erin). He will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Audrey & Lindsay MacLean and Jack & Megan Humphrey. Pre-deceased by his sister Lorna Simmens and survived by his brother Chuck Humphrey and brother-in-law Bill Simmens.
A skilled mechanic, Jack worked for Trans Canada Pipeline for over 20 years. He will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humour and his passion for creating online photographic archives of the Temagami area. He also enjoyed beachcombing and computers.
Jack provided many years of support and laughter for friends and the community in the Temagami and North Bay areas.
As per his wishes there will be no visitation or service.
Donations to the North Bay Recovery Home in memory of Jack would be appreciated by his family.
