At home, Thursday, May 27, 2004 in his 82nd year. Ian Houston, beloved husband of the late Teresa Houston. Much loved father of David (Judy), Jamie (Carol), Robbie, Heather, Danny (Borka), Bonnie (Bernie), Colleen (Kevin), Ian (Karen), Jeff (Kelly). Lovingly remembered by 18 grandchildren. Dear brother of Jim (June) and Clarence. Ian was a real estate salesman and appraiser for over 46 years. He was the past president of the North Bay Real Estate Board and the Kinsmen Club, a member of the North Bay Pipe Band, the Knights of Columbus, the Pro Cathedral Parish Council, a minister of the Eucharist for shut-inns, a member of the Board for the Association for the Mentally Retarded, Among the things Ian treasured most were his family and family gatherings, his faith, music, in particular playing his accordion and sharing his gift of song, his career, and his daily afternoon siestas. Visitation at the McGUINTY FUNERAL, Sunday, May 30th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption, Monday, May 31st at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations to the North Bay and District Association for Community Living would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
