After a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family, Zita passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Zita was the daughter of the late James and Agnes Miller. She is survived by her dear husband Wayne and her precious son Shaun. She is also survived by her brothers Bob Miller and Gary Miller of Toronto, her sisters Barbara Phillips (Earl) of Powassan, Marlene Porter (Jim) of North Bay, Jean McIntyre (Dave) of Cobourg, Geri Miller, Donna Miller, and Debbie Miller, all of North Bay. Zita also leaves behind a great number of nieces and nephews. Her dear pets Samantha, Midnight, and Petey were a special part of her life. The family wishes to thank Dr. Jenna and the visiting homecare nurses. A very special thank you to Debbie Miller and Dianne McCharles for their wonderful care of Zita. Visitors will be received at the McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Monday November 6, 2017 for a memorial visitation from 12 pm to 2pm. Interment will follow in the family plot at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
