This was a career he loved, and will be fondly remembered by the many students and apprentices, who become fully qualified tradespeople. He retired in the late 1980’s.  Len will also be remembered by many for his talent as a bagpiper.  He started playing the pipes as a young man growing up in Temagami and continued well into his 90’s.  He was a member of several pipe bands and played countless events in the communities he lived in.   Please join with his family to share memories and remember Len during visitation in the Martyn Funeral Home on Sunday afternoon and evening 2- 4 & 7 – 9 pm.  A celebration of his life will held at a later date at the Callander Legion.  and his ashes will be interred in the family plot in Callander Union Cemetery.
