GROULX: Victor “Ti-gars”

Sadly Victor’s family announce his passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Monday, September 4th, 2017. Victor Groulx, was the beloved husband of Muriel (nee Rocher), he was 81 years old. Loving father of Billy of Mattawa and Kim and her wife Barb of North Bay. He will be lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Billie. Dearly loved brother of Claire, Beatrice and Joan all of Mattawa and Claude of Welland. He was predeceased by his parents Oscar and Yvonne Groulx & by his siblings Irene, David and Lucienne. Victor worked his entire life in the outdoors, as he logged and trapped in the Mattawa area for many years. He was also well respected for the musical instruments he made and played.  A Funeral Mass for Victor will be held at the Ste Anne’s Roman Catholic Church on Friday, September 8th at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow at St. Anne’s Cemetery. If desired donation to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by his family.
