Gorman, Norah
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Theresa Gorman on April 8, 2021.

Theresa is survived by her husband of 66 years, Dermot; her daughters, Ursula Boyer (Randy), Deirdre Gorman and Grainne Gorman; her grandsons Tyler Radigan (Jessica) and Kyle Radigan (Christina); her great grandchildren, Connor and Brenna Radigan and her brother Gerry Foran.  Predeceased by her son Dermot; her parents Hanorah and John Foran; her sisters Rita Foran and Polly  Kelly; and brothers Walter Foran and Oliver Foran.

Theresa was born and raised in Ireland and relocated to Toronto with her husband and children in 1968.   She worked for Loblaws for many years. In her retirement, she especially enjoyed her involvement with the Emerald Isle Seniors Society.    She was a loving, caring and compassionate person who always made time for people.  Her door was always open and the kettle ready to be put on for a cup of tea.

Theresa and her husband moved to North Bay in 2018 to be close to their daughter.

The family would like to thank Dr. Halpert, the LHIN, VON nurses , PSW’s  and Marina Point  staff for the support provided to her over the past  few months and to thank the staff at the Nipissing Serenity Hospice who made her last few days  so comfortable and peaceful.

Cremation has taken place and due to COVID restrictions a memorial service will be held at a later date in Toronto.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made through Hillside Funeral Services to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
