GERVAIS, Mariette

At Leisureworld Nursing Care Centre, Monday, February 16, 2004. Mariette Gervais (nee Desjardins), beloved wife of the late Ovide Gervais, in her 78th year. Dearly loved mother of Claudette Tache (Fern) of North Bay, Gisele Coyle (Lorne) of Quellion, Quebec and Danny Gervais (Dayle) of Thorne. Lovingly remembered by six grandchildren and two great- grandchildren. Dear sister of Leonard Desjardins (Audrey) of British Columbia, Reina Keys of Oshawa, Anita Lafontaine of Sudbury, Elsie Dunn of Toronto and Marie Reine Lefebvre of Bonfield. Predeceased by her parents Kilda and Alfred Desjardins, a sister Yvette Scott and brothers Ovila, Maurice, Roger and Tony. Mariette was a member of the Canadian Corps Ladies Auxiliary. Visitation at the McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Peter's Church, Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
