It is with great sorrow that the family of Lucien Geoffroy announces the peaceful passing, while surrounded by the love of his family at his place of residence in Sturgeon Falls on Sunday January 3, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Lucien was the beloved husband of Yvonne Geoffroy nee Trepanier. Lucien was the loving father to Gisele Desmarais (Marc), Paul Geoffroy(Debbie) and Lynn McLaughlin (Darrell). Lucien was also the cherished grandfather to Roseanne, Renee, Roland, Brian (Michelle), Adam, Dylan, Kayla (Jacob) and Kyle and cherished great-grandfather to Grace, Adele, Amelie and Dawson. Lucien was the loving brother to the late Germain Geoffroy (Jacqueline), late Marielle Bellemare (late Aurelin), Etienne Geoffroy (Aline), late Jacqueline Morisette, Rachel Bellemare, the late Diane Morissette, the late Gerald Geoffroy, Ida Bouchard (Claude) and Noel Geoffroy (Ginette). Lucien is predeceased by his parents Albert Geoffroy and Lucienne Geoffroy nee Lamontagne. As per Lucien’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Whispering Pines Funeral Home. As per Lucien’s wishes a celebration of life will be determined at a later time. If desired, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
