Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, Scollard Site, Wednesday; January 28th, 2004 at the age of 58. Roger Gauthier was the beloved husband of Cathy (nee Lamothe) and dear father of Melissa Pilon (Jeff) of North Bay. Dear brother of Rhéal of North Bay, Raymond of Richmond Hill, Margaret Shannan (Pat) of Callander and Lorraine of Saskatchewan. Roger is survived by foster sisters, Yvonne and Donna, sister-in-law, Cathy (Nick), brothers-in-law, Darrel and Roger (Sue), mother-in-law, Lorraine, nieces and nephews, Cory, Samantha and Céline. Predeceased by his parents, Rose and Philippe Gauthier and one sister, Germaine McLaughlin. Roger was a member of the Golden Age Club. Visitation at McGUlNTY FUNERAL HOME, Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted by Reverend Jane Capstick of Laurier United Church at McGuinty Funeral Home Chapel, Saturday at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
