GAUTHIER, Judith Ann

Judy Gauthier died unexpectedly, but peacefully surrounded by family, at North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, April 24, 2018. She was in her 63rd year. Judy (McIntyre) was the beloved wife of Peter Thomas Gauthier and cherished mother of Amy and Terry Hargrave of Powassan and Anthony and Amanda Gauthier of Corbeil. Nanny will be lovingly remembered by grandchildren Peyton, Quinn, Jackson, Owen, and Edwin. Judy is the daughter of Norma (Robertson) and the late John “Jack” McIntyre and sister of Cathy, Jim, Ruth, Donna (Ted Bowman) and Karen (Peter McIsaac). She was the daughter-in-law of Larry and Laura Gauthier, and sister-in-law of Cletus (Kim), Maryann (Paul Yarlasky), Laurie (Mark Forth), Joanne (Boyd Rich). “Aunt Jude” will also be remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews, as well as her many friends. Judy is well-known in the Almaguin area for work as a clerk and Certified Municipal Officer with Chisholm and South Himsworth Townships, and the Municipalities of Powassan and Callander where she retired in 2010. Judy’s family will receive visitors at Paul Funeral Home, Powassan, on Sunday, April 29, 2018 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father Michael Busch at St. Joseph’s Church, Powassan on Monday, April 30, 2018 at 11 am. Spring interment will take place at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Trout Creek.
