Passed away at North Bay General Hospital, McLaren Site, Saturday, June 5, 2004 at age 92 Dearly loved husband of Kathleen Brady for 60 years. Loving father of Barbara Delorme and Marianne Gatenby. Granddad of Natalie Henderson and Adam Delorme and great-granddad of Sara. Survived by his sister Jean Delleville and brother-in-law Joseph of St. Louis, Mo. and brother Roy and sister-in-law Margaret of Oakville. Predeceased by his brother Harold and sister-in-law Emily, and parents Arthur William and Pearl Gatenby. Jim worked for the North Bay Hydro for 30 years, retiring in 1976. In his younger years, Jim was an avid tennis player and downhill skier. He spent many spring breaks at Sunshine Village in Banff, Alberta. He also enjoyed gardening and photography. Jim's greatest times were the ones he spent at the cottage he built by himself 50 years ago on Four Mile Bay, Trout Lake. Visitation at McGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Pro Cathedral of the Assumption on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, after which the family invites friends to their home at 936 Jane Street.
