At Sault Area Hospital (General) Saturday, November 15, 2003, age 77. Beloved husband of Germaine Fountain (nee St Jules); loving father of Delorese Pinkerton (Garry) North Bay. Dear grandfather of Tammy-Lee Pappano (John), Sudbury and Tonya McNabb (Timothy), Oakville. Great grandfather of Bianca, Alexa, Nyah Pappano, Sudbury. Brother of Doreen Biggings (late Terry); also predeceased by Vera Harriman (James), Ida Harwood (Fred) and Fred Arbour. Douglas will be remembered by great uncles, aunts, Doug Carle (Rickie), Florence Yeomans (James), Madeleine Westerlund (late Eric) and Loraine Tobey, Joanne Vessair and families of Midland and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Predeceased by parents Beatrice Carle Biggings (Russell), Ab A.J. Fountain, and biological father Angus Prisque. Brother-in-law to Beatrice Ledger, sister Rollande St. Jules, Cecille Ambeault (Roy), Anna Thibodeau (Albert), Hermance (sister-in-law) (late Leo), Theresa Ouellet (Rene), Lillian Parissenti (Guido); and predeceased by Rene (Genevieve), Aime St. Jules and Jeanne Thibodeau (Ivan). Douglas, a former resident of North Bay will also be remembered by many friends and associates. The family would like to thank all Doctors, Nurses, Staff, Families and Friends who kept them in their prayers, who called, sent cards, donations, mass cards, food as well as for all their hard work, all greatly appreciated.
