It is with great sadness, we announce the peaceful passing of Louis Filiatrault, surrounded by his dear sister Simone and family at the North Bay Regional Health Center on August 16, 2019, at the age of 78 years. Dear brother to Simone Filiatrault, Soeur Juliette Filiatrault S.A.S.V., (Guy) Le Père Jean Jacques Filiatrault Capucin, Gabriel (Vivian) and Roger (Fernande-deceased). He will sadly be missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his parents; Armand and Delvina Filiatrault (nee Legault), his siblings; Jean (Pamela-surviving), Jeanne, Bernard (Mercedes), Jacques (Jeannine-surviving), (Gérard) Le Père Richard Cap. and Denise Drolet (Jean). Family will be receiving visitors at McGuinty Funeral Home (North Bay) on Friday August 23, 2019 from 2-4 pm and from 7-9 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Paroisse St-Vincent de Paul (Wyld street) on Saturday August 24, 2019 at 10:30 am. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Shaw, Dr. Seguin and especially for the care and compassion provided by the D3 staff at the North Bay Regional Health Center. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice.
