Norman Fichault

It’s with deepest sorrow that we announce that Normand A Fichault Sr., passed away at the age of 63 years at his home with his loving family by his side. A loving husband of 43 years of marriage to his wife Lorraine (nee Degagne), their journey together raising their wonderful children and building a life in Bonfield, Ontario, they were always partners in crime in all they did.  Normand will be sadly missed and always remembered by his sons; Victor (Darlene), Normand Jr. (Ali) and Daniel (Kaley). The lovepépère had for his grandchildren will always be cherished and held in the memories of his grandchildren; Sheylyn, Krysten, Daren, Bamm and step-grandchildren; Ashley and Dawson. Beloved son of Albert Sr. and the late Archange Fichault (nee Gauthier). Norm will be sadly missed by his brother and sister’s; Albert Paul Fichault Jr. (Anna), Claudette Ranger (Paul), Louise Ranger, Nicole Good and his many niece, nephews, extended family and his furry canine companion ‘Kiki’. Predeceased by his baby daughter Lise. Norm’s enormous laugh pierced through anyone who had the pleasure of his presence, his ability to pull pranks and make jokes was what most would call a gift.  Norm had a tireless passion for hard work and dedication to his family; he built a very long career with Teamsters Local 230 as a pipe liner trucking across Canada for 35 years. Norm will be missed by many family and friends across the country. Whether he was sitting having a coffee in the morning, reading his daily newspaper or enjoying time in Dad’s garage, Norm’s soul and fond memories will be cherished forever by his family and many friends. The family would like to extend a huge heartfelt thank you to Dr. Engles and nurse’s Jen, Stephanie, Sabrina and Helene- your care and compassion shown to our family during this difficult time. The family will receive visitors at Paroisse Ste-Bernadette Parish on Saturday January 20, 2018 from 10 am until time of mass at 11 am. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family.

“You were tireless, but now you can rest my love. We know in our hearts that you will continue to look out for us with your unrelenting love.”
